I have been friends with these two fine people for 42 years — we met on the first day of seventh grade. Once a year we get together for a weekend of doing almost nothing. A few weeks ago we rented a place at Bodega Bay for the weekend, and while we could see the ocean from the back deck of the house we rented, we never actually made it to the beach. It was perfect. Here are a few photos from our trip.

Checking out older posts I realized I had missed the latest of your shots of a dancer (this one in MUD, no less!)… Stephen, you are so very gifted in capturing the essence of that medium as well as the essence of each dancer’s particular spirit. I am a huge fan of all of your work but/and confess that it is the images of dancers and of your Oakland neighbors that most invite my eyes, heart and soul to linger. THANK YOU!
